Basic Information & Policy

 

Please fill out Brian’s Booking Form. Brian will review the information provided to determine if you all would be a good fit to work together before discussing available appointments and accepting deposits. 

Design.

Brian creates original tattoo designs based on the information received via email. Brian will come to your appointment with a design prepared for you based on the reference photos and elements that you have detailed you would like included in the tattoo. Your appointment day will start by going over the proposed design and making it fit perfectly to your body. There will be time for any minor changes you would like to make to the design. If you want any major changes that would require the design to be redrawn or altered in a major way, he might have to reschedule your appointment. Brian does not release designs or drawings prior to appointments. 

Pricing.

Pricing is handled by the piece. Every person and project is unique. We will provide you with a price estimate for the project prior to booking. Price quotes are valid for 30 days. We will also provide you with a rough estimate of the hours and/or sessions required to complete each project.

Payment & Deposit. 

To set up an appointment requires a $300 non-refundable deposit. Brian only accepts PayPal (brianparrillo@gmail.com) or Venmo (brian-parrillo) for deposits. When sending a deposit, in the note please write ‘TATTOO.’ The deposit reserves your booking and is applied to the final cost of the tattoo. If your project requires multiple sessions to be completed, it will be applied to the final appointment. If you need to reschedule, please allow 7 days notice to transfer the deposit to your next appointment. You forfeit your deposit if you do not reschedule in advance. If you need to reschedule within the outlined timeframe, you have 30 days to re-book your new appointment time and your appointment must be within 6 months. Your deposit can only be transferred once. Deposits are only good for the accepted project.

For tattoo payments, it’s cash only, and there is not an ATM in the shop. Please come prepared with cash. Payment is due at the time of service. 

Appointment Day.

Once Brian accepts the proposed project, receives your deposit, and you have agreed to the policy and booking procedure- we will book your appointment.  Please arrive on time, well-rested, hydrated, and after a good meal. Before coming to your appointment we ask you to shave the area of the skin that will be tattooed, but be very careful not to cut yourself. Please do not apply any fragrances or lotions. If you have any health concerns you must inform Brian prior to your appointment. 

Ethereal Tattoo Gallery is located at 730 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham, NC 27701 (next to Fullsteam and across the street from Motor Co). Parking is available on the street, as well as nearby paid parking lots and garages.
