Custom Tattoo Booking Form
Thank you for your interest in my work!
My books are always open. I accept appointments year-round on a rolling basis, typically booking no more than three months out. I receive a high volume of inquiries and am selective about the projects I take on. The more detail you can share in your submission, the better.
For quick questions or any issues with the form, text Annika (Ethereal Shop Manager): (919) 908-8081
Projects I prioritize
Realism projects, microrealism, human portraits, pet portraits, realistic animals, lady faces, and my pre-drawn designs. Medium and large-scale realism work (full-day or multi-day sessions) is always at the top of the list.
Projects I typically turn down
Work outside of realism, full color realism (pops of color are welcome!) very simple or small tattoos*, and certain flowers. I enjoy tattooing roses, tulips, peonies, and other flowers that translate well to my style. If you want florals from me, it's best to let me guide the reference selection for what will work.
*The exception to the above is returning clients and referred clients, who have considerably more latitude when it comes to project type.
Many people reach out with a small or simple idea first, thinking they'll get something bigger down the road (especially if they haven’t been tattooed before and want to feel out the sensation). That's completely understandable, and if that's your plan, just let me know. A small fine line piece on its own isn't something I'd typically select, but knowing you're building toward a larger realism project changes how I evaluate the request.
AI-generated designs
AI tattoo designs are increasingly common, and submitting one as a reference is fine as a starting point. They can be useful for communicating a general concept or direction.
However, AI is not good at generating designs that are actually executable as tattoos. The detail levels AI images suggest are frequently impossible to replicate on skin, and this is especially true in realism. If you submit an AI design, expect that it will likely need to be simplified or changed significantly before it works as a tattoo. I humbly ask that you trust me, as the artist, to create the best tattoo design.
Don't have a specific idea?
You can select a few pieces from my portfolio and I'll create a custom design inspired by those. You're also welcome to browse my pre-drawn designs.
Free Consultations
Available upon request. Most projects come together entirely over email, but if you'd like to talk through your idea in person or by FaceTime before booking, just note that in your submission and we'll follow up with scheduling options.
Portrait Reference Photoshoots
For portrait tattoos, I offer an optional photoshoot to create reference images specifically designed for the tattoo process. Controlled lighting and composition can make a real difference for realism and microrealism work. Mention it in your inquiry or visit the Portrait Tattoo Photoshoot page to learn more.
